Anjem Choudary, British radical Islamist, lawyer, hate-preacher, all-round nutter who praised the Mumbai attacks, has called for the pope to be assassinated, has exhorted Brit Muslims not to cooperate with police in the fight against terrorism, claims it’s okay to kill non-Muslims, states that Islam is not a religion of peace and aims to turn Britain and Ireland into Islamic states with Shariah as law (among other things), is still alive and well and living in the U.K.! And stirring up more trouble.
Choudary, you might remember, has been involved, in the past, with various demonstrations calling for the U.S., Denmark and the U.K. to be bombed. Fellow demonstrators, at those rallies, have flashed signs saying
“Europe, you will pay, extermination is on its way”, “Behead those who insult Islam”, “Butcher those who mock Islam”, “Islam will dominate the world” “Freedom go to hell”
Well, Choudary was at it again, with a demonstration on February 28, 2009, calling for the implementation of Shariah law in Britain. Women could tag along, but they had to walk behind the men.
What I find interesting, is that a St. George’s Day parade was banned because it was considered “racist”, and yet Choudary’s demonstration was given the go-ahead. So, there’s nothing wrong with a group of people demanding the domination of one religion over others? What would happen if Christians, or Hindus, or Jews demonstrated, calling for domination of their religion? Do you think that would ever even be allowed? I doubt it.
I hope Britain wakes up soon, before it’s too late.
And unfortunately, this is how they gain ground, because we don’t have the courage to stand up against extremism.
There are those who actually don’t believe it’s happening. Most people on IB don’t. One of my posts about the Islamification of Britain, and most voted no, although it doesn’t show on the post itself.

The film "FITNA" simply shows quotes from the Holy Q'ran, and links those to images/videos that show their enactment. Mr Wilders never speaks. The film asks that the most hate-filled verses be removed from the Q'ran.
”democracy and Islam are unhappy bed-fellows.”
The problem is with the fundamentalists that want to create Islamic states. There are many Muslims who quite happily live and would prefer to live in a democracy, however, there are plenty who don’t.

and that is what I so totally oppose... there MUST be a definite separation of church and state. or in this case, mosque and state.
I value my freedom to ever succumb.
that’s fine, if people want to live under Shariah, then they should move to Saudi Arabia or Iran, otherwise they have no right to impose that in a non-Muslim country. This is what most of us take issue with. Believe what you wish, but do NOT impose it on me.
Sean, it’s a little of both.
It is sad, because I think most of us freedom-loving people want others to be able to worship as they please... but not so for them.
How terribly sad... all that hatred. They’ll probably all die of cancer or some other wretched disease.. because that’s what hate will do.
I say round them up and kindly send them home, It must be unbearable for them to have to suffer freedom of speech, individual rights and citizen
equality.
I say do the humane thing and export them directly to the Taliban region so they can get it all out - to chase people in the streets with guns, whips and swords, blow every body up and chop each others heads off.
When they tire of that they can settle down and marry 8 year old virgins as many as they like.
If thats what make them happy!
Doesn’t quite make sense does it...
leaving one mess to create another.
And that’s a great idea...
I think what used to be ”Britain” is slowly dying. And I’ve no idea if it’s too late or not to do anything about it. But the fundamentalist radicals seem to have free reign there.
What most Muslims fail to realize is that most NON-Muslims have no problem with the religion itself. most people in the free world believe in freedom of religion.. what we have a problem with is the whole idea of Islamic domination. And there are many who wish for that.

sanity... yes.. Because they know they’d have hell to pay for if they did. The extremists would have their heads.
Shehzad,
That’s because you’re not a radical, and thank God for those like you. Problem is the radicals are gaining ground, all over.
