There are Muslims, in the United States, who actually pray Allah destroys America. I’m not sure if that is religious zeal clouding their mental faculties or downright stupidity, considering if this country is destroyed, so will they be. Then again, they believe there are virgins waiting on the other side, so perhaps they’re looking more forward to bedding down with these women than doing something productive in this world and what part of pandemic do they not understand.
If the flu spreads it’s not going to stop on the borders of Muslim-majority countries, even if they do slaughter all the pigs there, as some, like Egypt, have been considering.
It spreads person to person. They would have to ensure no-one entered their nation, to prevent the pandemic from spreading throughout their land and, it never fails to amaze me how people can wish evil for others without realizing that what you wish for, for others, could come back to bite you, big time. What goes around comes around. So, when certain Muslims at websites like revolution.thabaat.net, located in North Carolina, say the following
Anyone with eyes can clearly see that this new disease is a curse from Allah upon America. The Mujahideen and those who support them continue to ask Allah to destroy America. Allah responded. Today, they are being destroyed military, economically, and now they are being destroyed with a new disease that is spreading fast. May Allah protect the Muslims in the West from this disease and may this disease reach all the enemies of Allah so that the American Government can no longer move a finger against the Ummah!
The people of the world should start realizing that the prohibition of pork in Islam has more benefits than harm. Islam is the only way out for success in both worlds.
In addition, Americans need to start realizing that their Government is fighting Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala in this bogus ‘war on terrorism’. The lesson of the day: if you fight Allah, Allah will terminate you in both worlds.
By the way, according to al-Jazeera, this flu has also reached Israel!
I ask my Rabb to continue punishing America, her allies and Israel in ways we never expected.
it makes one wonder. How can one who claims to love Allah, spends 5 times a day bowed in prayer, dedicates oneself to their religion wish such a thing on others? Of course, when someone in the comment section asked about what happens when Muslims start getting the swine flu, the admin’s answer was... they are being tested. What supreme arrogance to think they are being tested, and the rest of us infidels, kuffars or whatever we are, are being punished.
I don’t happen to eat pork, nor any kind of meat for that matter, I also don’t drink. Will those haters, praying for the destruction of America (and all non-Muslim westerners) make an exception with me? Doubt it.

Just as childish as the Israelis refusing to call it ”swine” flu and choosing to call it Mexican flu. It could be dangerous muddying the waters like that. Reminds me of some more childishness after 9/11 with French Fries.
That is what happens when people remain in perpetual childhood with a deity as the parent, they never have to grow up and take responsibility for anything.

Actually, their entire strategy is to get attention. The media makes money by splashing their attacks all over the place, using fear to increasing ratings. The two, terrorists and the mass media ironically have this symbiotic relationship. By ignoring them they both lose. Good.

I understand why Incognito does take it so seriously - because so many millions of human beings are physiologicaly paralyzed through fear and held back as captives by an ancient and narrow minded religion that does not allow them to question or think logically beyond its literal interpretations and writings.

Before there were kings and presidents, there were priests and shaman. Religion was the primordial form of government and still is at odds with a secular government. It isn’t just about ancient Islam, Christianity and Judaism are also guilty of holding on to those beliefs that are over two thousand years old.
Ms. K. you are right on the mark, we need to take responsibility for our actions in the present, we need to hold those that do harm to others and to the planet, accountable, and not allow any religious beliefs to be justified to perform atrocities.
Nor can we sit idly by as our elected representatives ruin our economy, make war with other nations for financial gain, and suppress our liberties in the name of national security. Our nation and all the Earth would be much safer for all inhabitants if we stopped fighting with others to take away what they have because we don’t have it and need/want it.

I did not meant to be sarcastic or be offensive its just my opinion and how I see the the world and the problems are caused by the fact people prefer wishful thinking desires of irrational ambitions to survive their own death, and compete with other human beings (in self centered delusion) to please a God in desperation for rewards and rank in the afterlife.
This viewpoint is the piety that the terrorists believe in such absolute faith, and they really do believe in their self sacrifice for such a noble cause in their own minds, even though, if logically challenged - their beliefs are immaturely absurd as is the tooth fairy and santa Clause.
I’m sorry but people have to begin challenging religious beliefs robustly because its been such a constant detrimental threat to humanity and any religious critisim should NOT be taboo but subject to scrutiny and analysis to keep people accountable and transparent, for the good of all.

One of the ones I remember most vividly was sending food to starving Somalis and the reporter standing at the distribution station while all the people there complained that the food was rice and beans and milk they wanted better stuff. They were cursing the US! That is what the world is really like.

I believe people have to seriously think and question everything portrayed by the media,(T.V.) and newspapers who are usually motivated by sensationalism, politics, governments etc.
Events - are being edited, twisted and changed to suit their own agenda/propaganda, so generally the masses of people only get to know what they are told to know and rarely get to see or understand the bigger picture.

No, the truth can’t be hidden, we are fortunate these days that we have tons of TV channels, newspapers and in top of it the internet. The problem with the American media and people is that they don’t do the extra step to read more about the subject or to judge the news which most of the time makes no sense.
It is simple, to judge a problem you have to hear both opinions, did you ever try to do that?
There are no Black nor White colors in this world, but all colors in between.

No, the truth can’t be hidden, we are fortunate these days that we have tons of TV channels, newspapers and in top of it the internet. The problem with the American media and people is that they don’t do the extra step to read more about the subject or to judge the news which most of the time makes no sense.
It is simple, to judge a problem you have to hear both opinions, did you ever try to do that?

I am talking about the AP copy that is used in every newspaper in the country, they don’t even bother to paraphrase in most cases. Anyone who reads more than 1 newspaper would have noticed it.

I don’t think Islam is much different than Christianity or Judaism, they share the same roots. So the virgins story is bit interested to all women as what in it for them ... hmmm
As for the pigs in Egypt, We are back at the same idea that no media is reporting the full picture, according to my reading, The farms in Egypt has been in a long lived debate, as the pigs owners are actually the Garbage dump owners and they were feeding the pigs garbage only, so lots of concerned people - mostly Christians- are asking to get rid of it.
Egypt can’t support this kind of industry since it lack food resources for the pig or other animals.
