What happened to the peace agreement in the Swat Valley of Pakistan? Or does “peace” have a different meaning to the Taliban? Not that I ever believed that the killing would stop, it’s a little like serial killers who get a taste for blood and then can’t stop themselves. That’s what the Taliban are, and any other radical Islamist who goes around murdering others- serial killers. People who can’t be satisfied unless they have blood on their hands. Who gain pleasure from the suffering of others. Then again, since they’ve banned pretty much everything from music to DVDs to other forms of entertainment, is killing their form of entertainment?

It’s obvious that the Taliban can’t live in peace, because there will always be someone they want to get rid of. In this case it was a mini-bus full of Shia children on their way to school that were ambushed- 3 of the kids were killed, along with the bus driver, several were critically injured, and at least 6 to 8 were kidnapped. Children! Grown men massacring defenseless children, because they happen to be the wrong kind of Muslim. Apparently, the Shia in northwestern Pakistan have been targets for a while, and up to 30 are killed per day. But, children? And fellow Muslims!

So does this so-called “peace agreement” not include the Shia? Does it not include anyone other than fellow extremists? Doesn’t seem like much of a peace agreement to me, then again, I never believed it was.
